We’ll be serving mimosas, micheladas, fine beer and wine all night long. Don’t forget to bring an appetite because our dinner menu will also be available. We’ll be starting everything around 6:30pm, don’t miss it!
Here’s a preview our artists and musicians:
And in his own words a little bit about one of the masters of the art of barista: Chris Timms
“My name is Christopher Case Timms, I am a fine artist/illustrator and a graduate of California College of the Arts. (2006) Whilst studying at CCA my concentration was Illustration and Graphic Design with and emphasis on figurative art. I studied under renowned illustrators such as; Owen Smith, Robert Hunt and Barron Storrey and the late Dugald Stermer.
My work focuses on pushing the visual aspects pop of culture dialogue into different directions. My mind likes to stop at the intersections of figurative and abstract art, commercial illustration, comic books, street art/graffiti art, film, and especially cartoons.
Since I was a child, media in all its visual forms drew me in more than anything else and helped me to make sense things occurring in the external world . My work is inspired by a mind that is highly visual, and image generation is at times hallucinogenic, surreal and at other times hyperrealist. The goal being that much like Pop Art there is no true focus, just forward momentum.
These paintings explore my fascinations with the crafting of an image or icon that sits in the subconscious mind and how it resonates by means of mass production. Religion, Art History, and the spiritual power of the natural world also play into my work as well.” – C.C Timms
